VINAINCON were awarded and now implementing Package 1 and Package 2 of Samsung Electronics Vietnam (SEV) 4^th component Project in Bac Ninh province.

SEV has been investing in a $1.5 billion mobile phone manufacturing project in Bac Ninh province. This project has had positive impacts on the local economy. Last year, Samsung’s total export turnover reached $6 billion, tantamount to 80 per cent of Bac Ninh’s total export turnover. This figure is expected to rise to $10 billion in 2013, making SEV the biggest exporter in terms of turnover in Vietnam.

VINAINCON was SEV’s subcontractor for the construction and installation of the plant in late 2009, which is operating efficiently. Vietnam is the fifth country where Samsung Electronics has phone production facilities after South Korea, China, India and Brazil.
