1. Thai Nguyen Samsung Electronics Vietnam Factory (SEVT) is the project in the first phase of the high-tech complex invested by Samsung in Yen Binh Industrial Zone with the total capital of USD3,2 billion. The Complex consists of a mobile phone assembly factory with an investment capital of VND2billion; a microprocessor and IC factory with an investment capital of VND1,2billion. Samsung Group’s other companies have also plans to invest more electronic accessories producing factories to supply such as digital cameras, personal computers, vacuum cleaners…
SEVT is located on an area of 100hecta with a designed capacity of 100million of mobile phones and accessories per year. The factory is estimated to be finished and put into operation at the end of the year of 2013, using about 2,000 workers.
VINAINCON used to be Samsung’s contractor of its mobile phone factory in Bac Ninh Province and now continuously to be chosen for the project’s important packages, of which that is steel structure package. The contract period is 4 months and VINAINCON is alos preparing for bids and negotiations for packages of concrete and infrastructures of the project.
2. VINAINCON won the bid for the Water Supply Plant in the Complex of Formosa Iron and Steel Plant in Vung Ang Economic Zone of Ha tinh province.
The contract value is VND400 billion of auxiliary materials, manpower and management. The work is carry out within 14 months before hand-over to the Investor.
