The ground breaking ceremony of Phu Quy wind power plant on November 26th, 2010. The plant has a 6MW capacity and includes 3 turbines (each turbines has 2 MW) with the total construction capital of VND 335 billion by PV Power RE. Vinaincon was awarded to the package of transmission line installation and supply.
On April 4, 2012, the wind-power plant is put into operation and officially generates electricity. The plant supplies 18,000 residents on the island with enough electricity all day and night for their daily use, production, and surely from now on, it helps to boost socioeconomic development in the Phu Quy outpost island.
