In the end of December 2012, VINAINCON was selected as the subcontractor for AEON MALL Phnompenh project in Cambodia. The contract signing ceremony will been taken on January 29th 2013 in Phnompenh between representatives of VINAINCON and GS E&C, Korea- the main contractor of this project during the witness of project investor – AEON MALL Group, one of the leading retail group in Japan up to now.
AEON MALL project is located in the land area of 68,461m2 with total construction area 85,453m2, separated into 3 areas A, B, C. VINAINCON construction site is Area B which construction area is 48,572m2, 23,696 m3 concrete work and 2,709 ton of steel structure.
Total value contract of VINAINCON is about 4 million USD and shall be implemented during 9 months. This project has been assigned to VINAINCON 6 and VINAINCON Southern Branch together carrying out.
It is the first project in oversea for VINAINCON. Eventhough being a medium size and not big value project, it has played an important role in establishing the corporation's brand name and widely opening market outside Vietnam territory.
