Vinaincon switches on the tranmission station of Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant

On 15th September, 2016, VINAINCON held a solemn ceremony to celebrate the day the 200KV transmission station of Thai Binh Thermal Power Plant at My Loc commune, Thai Thuy District, Thai Binh Province to be switched on.

VINAINCON had won Package No.29 (XL29-TB): Equipments supply, Construction and Installation of equipments for the Plant’s Transmission station

Ceremony participants are the representatives of Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGenco 3), the project consultants and local leaders. Representatives of VINAINCON are Mr. Nguyen Gia Du - Chaiman of Management Board, Mr. Hoang Chi Cuong - General Director and VINAINCON’s staffs and employees, press and TV reporters of Thai Binh province, Hanoi City and of Ministry of Industry and Trade

The plant has been built in My Loc Commune of Thai Thuy District in the northern province of Thai Binh by the Electricity of Viet Nam Group (EVN) and Japanese contractor Marubeni at a cost of VND26.5 trillion (US$ 1.27 billion). The 115- hectare plant consists of two turbines. The first turbine is scheduled to begin generating power in November 2017, and the second in May 2018. The construction of Thai Binh thermal power plant began on 22/02/2014, with a combined design capacity of 600MW and an annual electricity production of 3.6 billion KWh.
